Cookie Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
This Cookie Policy applies to Adicio AI Oy’s adicio.ai website and its language versions. It explains the cookies used on the website, their purposes and retention periods, and how to manage your cookie preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small pieces of data that a website stores in your browser. They can be used, for example, to remember your language and cookie preferences or to measure website usage. Session cookies remain in place for the duration of your browsing session. Persistent cookies remain for a specified period or until you delete them.
Our website uses its own functional cookies as well as consent-based Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies. In addition, embedded YouTube video content on the website may use Google cookies and similar storage technologies when you enable the video content.
The website’s own functional cookies are necessary for providing the service and do not require consent (Section 205 of the Finnish Act on Electronic Communications Services). Optional analytics cookies are set only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
Further information on the processing of personal data is provided in our privacy policy.
First-party cookies
These cookies are provided by Adicio AI Oy and stored under the adicio.ai domain.
Cookie | Intended use | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| Stores whether analytics were accepted or rejected, the time of the selection, and the technical version of the cookie preference. The cookie is set when you accept or reject analytics or save your preferences. | 180 days (from the last saved selection) |
| Remembers the website's language version and helps provide content in the selected language. The cookie may be set on the first page load and updated when the language version changes. | 180 days (from when it was set or updated) |
These cookies are also used when you reject analytics cookies. They cannot be disabled in the website’s cookie settings. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, but the website may then not remember your cookie or language preferences.
Google Analytics 4 analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure and improve the use of our website. Cookies are used to distinguish between browsers and link visits to the same browser and session. When analytics are used, information about website usage is transmitted to Google.
The Google Analytics script is loaded only after you accept analytics cookies or if a valid prior consent is stored in your browser. If you reject analytics cookies before they are enabled, Google Analytics will not be loaded.
Google Analytics uses the following cookies on our website's domain:
Cookie | Intended use | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| Distinguishes between browsers to measure visitor numbers. | 2 years (Google default) |
| Maintains analytics session data. | 2 years (Google default) |
By default, the retention period is renewed when the service is used. The browser may limit the actual retention period to a shorter duration. The 180-day validity period of your cookie preferences is separate from the retention period of these cookies: analytics will not be enabled on a new page load solely because analytics cookies are present in the browser.
More information is available in Google's description of GA4 cookies.
Cookies for embedded video content
This website uses embedded video content from YouTube. The video player is loaded from YouTube when you enable video content. Your browser will then connect to Google, and YouTube may store or read cookies and use other browser storage technologies.
The YouTube player cookies include the following cookies from the youtube.com domain:
Cookie | Intended use | Retention period |
|---|---|---|
| Used to ensure the security of requests and prevent misuse. | Browsing session |
| Used to ensure the security of requests and prevent misuse. | Browsing session |
| These cookies are related to the operation of the YouTube service and usage measurement. Depending on your settings, Google may also use them for personalization or advertising. | approx. 6 months |
| Related to the handling of YouTube's privacy and consent settings. | approx. 6 months |
| Related to the rollout of new YouTube features and measuring their impact. | approx. 6 months |
The cookies used by YouTube may vary depending on factors such as Google sign-in, previous choices, and browser settings. The browser may block third-party cookies or shorten their retention period.
The cookie preference for website analytics applies to Google Analytics. It does not prevent YouTube video content that you have enabled separately from loading, nor does it remove YouTube cookies. You can use the rest of the website without enabling embedded video content. You can manage YouTube cookies in your browser settings and through Google's privacy controls.
More information about the purposes of use and retention periods is available in Google's cookie description. You can manage your Google preferences using Google's privacy tools.
Managing and changing cookie preferences
If your browser does not have a valid cookie preference, the website will ask you to make a choice. You can accept or reject optional analytics cookies and manage your preferences in the website’s cookie settings.
You can change your choice or withdraw your consent to analytics at any time in the cookie settings accessible from the website footer. To withdraw your consent, reject or disable optional analytics and save your choice. You can use the website without accepting Google Analytics.
When you withdraw your consent, the website saves your new choice, sends Google a setting that disables analytics cookies, and deletes the website’s known Google Analytics cookies. However, the Google script that has already loaded remains on the current page and may send cookieless measurement requests. Reload the page after withdrawing your consent so that the loaded analytics script is also disabled. On the newly loaded page, Google Analytics will not be loaded if your saved choice is to reject analytics cookies.
Your choice is specific to each browser and device. You will be asked to make the choice again when the cookie storing it expires or is deleted. You will also need to make the choice separately when using another browser or device.
You can also delete cookies or prevent them from being stored in your browser settings. Deleting cookies alone does not save your choice to reject cookies on the website: please select the reject option in the website’s cookie settings.
Changes and contact information
We update this Cookie Policy whenever the cookies used on the website or how they are used changes. The date of the latest update is provided in this Cookie Policy.
